I'm a little behind on blogging (big surprise) and I have already done their sweet little man's newborn session but to keep things somewhat organized, I'm still going to trek ahead on blogging my sessions (in order) :)
When Erica first contacted me about their maternity session she had an idea of rustic Jerome combined with the train station in mind for their portraits. Erica and Anthony met while both working for the train station so it had a really important place in their hearts. As a creative, I loved her ideas. As a realist and business owner, I was a little nervous about shooting at the train tracks as the safety of my clients (big and small) is my number one priority. In addition, I didn't want to break any rules that the train track had set forth and risk my own biz.
As I started expressing my concerns to Erica, she chuckled a bit and assured me that everything would be OK. You see, Anthony worked (at the time of this session) as the Engineer of the train AND they would not be running on the day that we planned the shoot! I have to admit I felt a huge sense of relief for the fact that we could have so much fun and give my clients the experience that they had envisioned. Needless to say, we had a blast!
